Your advice for young musicians?

My advice for young musicians is to practice a lot, but more importantly enjoy the people and music making more than anything else. (If you’re a brass player join brass of peace)

What college/university do you plan on attending this fall?

Manhattan School of Music, Trombone Performance.

A favorite, or memorable AYPO experience?

It has truly been an honor and a privilege to play with so many incredible young musicians!

What do you hope to do after graduation or your more long-term goals?

Looking forward to a life spent making music.

What musician, conductor, or orchestra inspires you and why?

Ms. Alimena has inspired me in my musical journey. She provided many insights into music and really morphed me into the musician I am today. Without her I don’t know where I’d be today.

Any additional memories or thoughts you would like to share?

Being able to work with Maestro Noseda in the NSO side by side was an experience I’ll never forget. He was so generous with his time and is an amazing artist.
